Meet Our Founders
Began his career as a physician in Russia, has made a name for himself in New York City's daycare industry. As the dedicated owner of Little Princeton, a well-regarded boutique daycare that opened its doors in 2009, he has built a reputation for offering one of the top non-traditional Montessori daycares in Brooklyn, NY, receiving praise from students, parents, and educators alike. Theodor's enthusiasm for creating engaging learning experiences while making them enjoyable for children truly sets him apart in the industry. In addition to co-founding Golden Minds Prep, Mind Body Soul Children's Society, and Aspiring Minds Childhood Development Center, he also works as a consultant for other daycares and educational programs.
Lena Afonina is a New York-based artist and educator with a heart for both creating and teaching. Her artistic journey has led her to showcase her talents in various prestigious venues, including an exhibition at the Alfred Ceramic Art Museum at Alfred University in New York. Lena's unique vision has also been celebrated through solo exhibitions at the Diane Rosenstein Gallery in Los Angeles, and her works have found a special place in the private collection of renowned collector Robert Rothschild. Her talent is recognized internationally, with her art being featured in museum collections in Russia. Educationally, Lena is well-equipped with a master's degree in Ceramic Art from the esteemed S.G. Stroganov Moscow State Academy of Arts and Industry, and she also holds a teaching degree from the Moscow Academy of Professional Competencies. This blend of expertise underscores her deep love for both practicing and teaching art. For the past twelve years, Lena has dedicated herself to teaching art to a diverse range of students, from young children to adults. Her approach to teaching is infused with the same creativity and passion that she brings to her own art. Lena's commitment to sharing her love of art has made her a cherished figure among her students and peers, helping to inspire and shape future generations of artists.

Do I need to bring my own supplies?

You can sign up for our classes online through our website, over the phone (646)752-2858 GMP Art Class, or by visiting our studio in person. We recommend registering in advance as classes can fill up quickly.
What are the class sizes?
We maintain small class sizes to ensure personalized attention for each student. Typically, our classes have between 5 to 10 students.
Are there any open studio times available?
Yes, we offer open studio times where artists can come in and use our facilities to work on their projects. These sessions are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Can I host a private event or party at the studio?
Absolutely! Our studio can be booked for private events, birthday parties, corporate team-building workshops, and more. Please contact us for details and reservations.
What is your cancellation policy?
We require a 48-hour notice for cancellations to receive a full refund. For cancellations made less than 48 hours before the class, we offer a credit for future classes.
Is the studio accessible for people with disabilities?
Our studio is fully accessible. If you have specific needs or questions, please contact us so we can make your experience as comfortable as possible.
